Just pick this up, and its amazing how light it feels. It seems to be around 10 ounces, which is about 280 or so grams we figure (our scale is not super accurate, but is close). So if you have an exotic 1980's bike and you want an original saddle from that period that is a special lightweight item, and one that is not some repro thing made in China or wherever, then here is your chance!.
Note - this is an alloy rail saddle. Alloy rails can bend or break - so we suggest this saddle as best for those who aren't terribly heavy or rough on their stuff. But if you want to get that exotic Campagnolo Super Record or Campagnolo C-rec bike on a diet, than here is the pefect item. Maybe we'll through one on the team Raleigh 753 frame, that would be a great weight saver compared with the Brooks!
