Another narrow handlebar at an insanely low price!

Here is a new-in-the-wrapper TTT Competizione handlebar in 40 width (TTT measures outside to outside so this is really about 38cm).  This is a deep drop handlebar.

The bar is single groove, and a darkish grey color.  The color is almost like a dark titanium color, but that is subjective.

This bar is 7075 heatreated.  It was a costly handlebar originally - it is 26.0 clamp diameter and super high quality.

Tracx 15/16mm cone wrench.  Kinda like the old Campy cone wrenches.  Nice quality it seems, and inexpensive.  Sold individually. 

These hubs are a great cheap date!

A Sunshine Pro-Am hub, 32 hole, 126mm (6sp) silver, (an ISO freewheel threads right on).  This hub hub has been laced but we guess not ridden.  It is shopworn a little bit, and has no skewer.  But what a cool inexpensive freewheel hub.

A bike restorers delight.  72 new Stella 295mm spokes, chrome plated, with nipples, in double butted 15 gauge.  This is a size that is in range for large flange hubs to 36 hole tubuilar - but purchasers are on their own for determining spoke length, we can't do that for you and unfortunately spokes are one item we can't accept returns on.  The original packaging is not included as we have these spokes moved into bulk storage.  Also, the photo might not be of your particular length or spoke gauge.

Stella spokes were standard equipment on top level Italian bicycles of the late 1960's through mid-to-late 1970's.  They have a star on the head.

Note that the nipples you receive are vintage Italian nipples that fit properly, but our nipple stock includes both Stella and Raedalli nipples.  And of course, all the nipples will be matching.

You get one chainring for this item - a 50 tooth SR brand (the Japanese Company) in track (1/8) 118 bolt circle.  Not sure how common that is.  But the price is great!  If you have a crank in this pattern you now have a great ring to make a fix gear!

This is a cool item!  Soma made some long cage plates that fit Campy NR/SR/GS rear derailleurs.  The cage plates are a silver anodized finish that is pretty close to a Campy Super Record anodization.  

The Super Record derailleur IS NOT INCLUDED.  Just two cage plates.  But oh these are an item we've wanted for years...

Note that the inner plate is rather thick - so these plates are best if you use with a large freewheel (that is the idea anyway), otherwise your plate may get close to the spokes. But if you are modifying your Campy NR/SR bike with these long cage plates the use of a freewheel with large cogs is probably the idea anyway!  And we just restocked on some IRD freewheels to help your project along.

Note that post 78 Campy SR rear derailleurs use a beveled screw driver slot bolt (for the pulley cage) that won't fit in these cage plates well.  You need the bolts off a typical Campy NR/GS or Rally.  If you buy these plates and are stuck for bolts, we may be able to dig some up for you, but they are a bit pricey.

The Sachs Sedisport chain was the “it” narrow chain in the late 1970’s for ultra 6 freewheels.  They shifted well, but they really lasted!  We just came upon some late vintage Sachs/Sedisport chains and we’re really excited.  They work on wide space freewheels also.  These have “Sedis” in the triangle and also say “Sachs” as well. Offered here is a new logo Cinelli 66-38 handlebar 26.4 clamp diameter from a bunch of years ago.  This handlebar is new in the wrapper.  The width is meassured from center to center at the drops.  The drop is deep - the 66 is the deep drop model.

We notice that the quality of NOS fresh Cinelli handlebars can vary.  They can be great or some have blems from typical factory storage and subsequent shipping and storage.  Also, some handlebars may have drawing marks from the manufactoring, sometimes the marks are rather minimal (which is normal) or which may be very pronounced (which we see alot but which isn't so good).

What you are purchase here is a handlebar that is hand selected from our stock and which has minimal handling marks and rather minimal drawing marks.  Handlebars that do not meet this standard are sold as "2 second quality" as a different product .

We've seen folks ask nearly $200 for similar bars on ebay which is silly.  We have a bit of stock on these, but we need to make them go.  This is a great opportunity for a restoration or for smaller folks who ride deep drop bars.  We suspect you could also make bullhorns out of them. But we didn't say that.

Remember - you need a Cinelli 26.4 clamp diameter stem to take advantage of them.

Cinelli 2a track stem 130mm new logo (for typical BSC or Italian steerer). Clamp diameter is 26.4mm, quill is 22.2mm.

Now there is an issue with these.  Cinelli stems from this period more often than not had binder bolts that did not fit cleanly into the counterbore.  This always freaks us out as we wonder if the bar can really be tightened right.  It seems like a bunch of these are in circulation with this issue, so somehow most folks manage, but to us it isn't right.  

So we're selling these at a reduced price - use at your own risk of course, or buy them for the hardware.  It would be really nasty if you bought one and sold it on ebay without this disclosure, so keep the good Karma out there.  But maybe you can file the bore to behave better or do something.  But we're selling these at a great price.

Casati 59.5 ct Ti pearl older style Casati frame. Price includes shipping to the lower 48.  Top tube around 58.5cc. This is a very cool frame that has an older feel to it - probably from an earlier batch.  The decals are a bit older looking.  The color is almost like a lighter version of the classic Masi/Frejus color.    Spacing is about 126mm.  Top mount Campy NR/SR braze on shifters with Casati pantographing.  

 
Like most of these frames, even though NOS never built, there are some generally minor paint chips on these frames - but this frame has very few blems of note.  Some of the workmanship is a bit less refined on this one, but the overall look of the frame is older.  This is a real time capsule example!

The frame is very old stock.  But for your piece of mind, from the time you receive the frame, Boulder Bicycle will provide a one year warranty against frame failures and also guarantee that there are no defects that will effect the ability to build up and use the frame - buy with confidence!

Casati was always a fun brand.  They did lots if interested aero routing, and had the style that only Italian makers can pull off.  Most of these frames are from 1986 or perhaps a few years earlier.  These have been in storage since they were made, and many had Italian newspaper wrapping dating 1986 on them!  

Workmanship on Casati frames runs the full range of “it's Italian”.  We see many details that we only wish DeRosa or Colnago would consistently execute as well.  Then we see areas, sometimes around the frames with the finely pointed dropout finishing where there may be a braze gap.  But overall these frames are really well done.  And the fitting of the tubes in the bb shell is generally fantastic.

We sold out on the ones we obtained at a super low rate - we can still source some, but the price is not nearly as fun.  But considering how gorgeous these are, and how desirable they are, in the context of modern bike prices, these are not really crazy at all.  At least we can get them.

.These rims are around 350g each if we recall.  They build up build up reasonably nice - although not like a modern rim (we wouldn't use them on high-dish 8, 9, or 10sp).  We did notice that they seem really nice and straight.  And they come nicely packaged as a pair with a cool cardboard holder for the pair (we may need to remove the holder thingy for shipping but we'll include it unfolded if we can.

What is very special about these rims is how gorgeous they are.  If you are building up a late super record or a C-record era bike, these rims are an absolutely stunning addition to the build. That is probably why they fetch such high prices.  Be sure to add $10 for shipping at checkout. 

Campagnolo Quick Release Seatpost Binder Bolt. 

This is a handy item for sure - typically works wherever you would be able to fit a conventional Campy 8mm binder but you want flexibility instead. Also great for frames where the binder ears are messed up and the typical binder doesnt have a good area to bit into - this has big concial washer plates that grip the ears from the outside with lots of contact area. The binder is no lightweight - but it can be a real problem solver and a fun bit of Campy exotica on the cheap. We've sold these on ebay before at $40 - but this isn't ebay, its we hope a lot more fun!

A package of two Campagnolo Nuovo Record Headset keyed lockwashers. (the photo shows 5, you get 2).

These washers are in gorgeous chrome. They will work with any headset made for British or Italian keyed steerers. These are exceptionally nice, and are great to keep around for anyone who works with classic bikes with threaded steerers.

A pair of brand new old stock Campagnolo Nuovo Record Brake cable set. Front and rear. Factory fresh, with unlined housings as Campagnolo supplied into the early-to-mid 1970's. These are the nice and heavy 1.8mm thick inner cables with the on the head logo. The real deal.

The correct original inner cables (especially the rear) are extremely hard to find. A quick glance on ebay on January 7, 2012 showed NO other listings for a complete set such as this.

Campagnolo Italian thread thin cup pair NOS gorgeous.  No lockring.  

One Pair  - the photo shows two, but this item is ONE PAIR.  We do offer a 2 pair special as a different item.

These cups fit most pre-1968 Campagnolo record cranks, Campagnolo Nuovo Record Track bb's, Campagnolo Nuovo Record triple bb's, and mate with all other Italian width spindles that use 1/4 balls and require thin wall cups.  Nuovo Record road double cranks use thick wall rifled cups, but even during the 1970's and 1980's Campagnolo continued to make premium spindles for road doubles that mated with these thin cups - so if you have a spindle for thin cups than these cups can be a real lifesaver.  

Also, there were a number of later Campagnolo spindles that used thin cups, it is hard to name them all!

These cups were probably made in the 1980's, but they would work great and look great on your crank sitting on your 1966 Masi or Cinelli.  So enjoy this opportunity.  Perfect those who seriously tinker with classic Campagnolo equipped bikes!

A gorgeous Campagnolo downtube cable guide (for guiding the front and rear bare derailleur cables).  It is the thingy that mounts on the downtube above the bb shell.

While these do turn up, what is nice about the ones we have is how shiny and gorgeous the chrome is.  And the proper bolt and nut is included too of course.

Campagnolo Bolts and washers. Set of 8. When you are installing fenders or racks, it is nice to have high quality bolts around to do the job. The most common bolt on many bikes is M5 - both modern and vintage bikes use them everywhere. These bolts and washers are genuine Campagnolo from the days of Nuovo and Super Record. They have a wonderful chrome finish. They fit things like dropout eyelets, waterbottle bosses, and much more. And when assembling your bike, there are many places to use these.

A very spiffy brake cable set for your Campagnolo bike that is begging for Yellow.  Genuine and gorgeous modern Campy 1.6mm inners, combined with a Yellow housing (non-Campy, Campy never made it) that is lined for performance.  This set includes 6 ferules in case you want to split the rear, and housing for the front and rear that is a bit longer than the housing originally provided for in the Campagnolo Super Record brakesets.  Yellow housing often looks great on 70's and 80's bikes such as Masi or Colnago or DeRosa.
