You are reserving a build slot for a tig welded Boulder Bicycle - it can be a 700c Brevet, 650b all road, or a 700c road sport. It can be stock geometry or custom geometry. But we need to reserve build slots at Waterford as the wait is getting longer. Once you place your deposit, we'll assign you to the build time, and then we'll get all the details. Please be sure to read all the info on our Boulder Bicycle pages which discuss frame price and specification specifics.
Then we start the email dialog and get you the bicycle of your dreams!
Installation of a Miche Needlbearing headset WITH the purchase of a Boulder Bicycle frame and fork.
Ignore the frame size stuff info - that is an artifact of programming gone wild. This is just the $69 headset option.
Note - please let us know if you will be running a hard wired talight with a single wire (frame/fork as ground) - if so, we need to remove some anodizing on the headset before installation. We'll do it for you if you ask, but we need to know. Then we check and make sure the fork and frame have conductivity. Where else do they do headset installations with a voltmeter?
The price includes both the headset and the labor to instal it. Note that all Boulder Bicycle frames and forks are prepped without additional charge anyway - we chase the bb threads, we run the Campagnolo cutters through the headtube, and we remove paint from the headtube and bb shell faces. Waterford says they prep the frames before we get them, but we like to use the Campy tools and we do clean things up a bit in doing so.

A Boulder Bicycle low trail fork - black, 60mm. The fork is 1" threadless. And the steerer is very long (about 380mm).
This fork has a nice clearance for a typical 50mm fender (for use with up to 32mm tires). It has 3 wire guides on the non-drive side for you to run coaxial generator wire through.
The fork is brand new - there may be very light shopwear on it. The forkcrown is flat. This is the same fork, only in black, that we use on our 700c Boulder Brevet Bicycles.
Since there is a smidge of shopwear, we're discounting this one (and a couple of others) nicely. This is a great way to convert that bike you have to a low trail machine! Normally over $300.
The 60mm rake is perfect for bikes with roughly a 73 degree headangle.
