z Campagnolo Centaur 175mm 50/34 silver square taper crank - Last of an era!
The last of an era! 175mm Campagnolo Silver Centaur compact crank 50/34 rings with BOTH rings in the familiar 110mm bolt circle.
We completely bought out what is the last supply of these we know of. When we get down to the last few of these, the price is sure to go up. With modern "retro" cranks such as the TA selling for nearly $600, this crank is a great deal as it works great.
This is perhaps the best Campy crank configuration of recent times. This is the Centaur crank with silver arms that takes a square taper bb (111mm ISO not included), and the chainrings have a great finish! The crank is designed for 10sp, but as always use of the crank with a 7, 8 or 9sp chain should be fine.
Even the chainring bolts look great! We've seen these cranks show up used on ebay and sell for over $200, but this crank is factory fresh, brankd new, and perhaps your last opportunity to get one of these new.
This crank should have a Q factor of around 148 or so (maybe 145 or 146 with a Campy bb, the SKF we often use makes it about 148).
This crank is one of our favorites. It runs very true right out of the box, the Q factor for us is optimal, the rings are easy to replace due to the 110 bolt circle, and the shifting with the rings it is supplied with is fantastic.

The last of an era! 172.5mm Campagnolo Silver Centaur compact crank 50/34 rings with BOTH rings in the familiar 110mm bolt circle.
We only have a very few of the 172.5mm length, so the price is higher than the 175mm. Don't miss out!

TA Cyclotourist Pro 5 VIS 175mm arm pair
Please allow 4 extra buisness days for shipping of this item.
What you get here is just the arm pair. Not all the stuff shown in the photo - just the arm pair. See hardware and rings listed elsewhere on the online store and sold seperately.
Back after a long absence. TA fresh production TA Cyclotourist (AKA Pro 5 Vis) crankarm pair in 175mm. These are the real deal - not some copy made out of who-knows what. The real deal costs more.
These arms are made of proper alloy to reduce corrosion as TA knows how to do. Also, unlike some copies, there is a greater distance between the arms backside and the chainring. It still is pretty darn difficult to use a modern triple front derailleur with this crank. We suggest using these cranks as compact doubles and a modern front derailleur without too much outer cage shaping. Note that these arms are very low Q - if you have wide chainstays you may have issues. These are not the easiest to set up and fit. But when installed, these offer perhaps the best range of chainrings, the lightest weight, and the lowest Q factor of almost any crank we know of.
You will need to buy rings and hardware to mount the ring to the arms, and then hardare to mount either two (or 3 rings) to the primary large ring.
If you are using an SKF bb, we suggest using the 121mm for a double and 126mm for a triple.

TA Cyclotourist chainring to arm bolt set
Please allow 4 extra business days for shipping of this item.
Not as shown in the photo!
Again, this item is the hardware to mount a chainring to a Cyclotourist (aka Pro 5 vis) crankarm.
This is all genuine TA stuff - not copies and not sets missing washers. You still will need the hardware to mount one our two rings to the outer ring (unless you are doing a single ring setup). TA crank hardware is kinda pricey, and we only mark it up a smidge as a service.

TA Carmina Double Crank special order $459
Special order at great price for the legendary TA Carmina Crank. We love this crank with its 94mm bolt circle which we are offering here. It lets you gear down to 30 teeth on the inner. Our favorite combination is the 46/30.
Please allow 4 extra business days for delivery of this item. (we try to keep the 170 46/30 in stock though)
We can typically supply this crank in the following arm lengths - 155, 160, 165, 167.5, 170, 172.5, 175, 177.5, 180, and 185.
The Q factor is around 156mm which isn't terribly low (but for folks like myself it is great! - not everyone is best served by low Q). What is amazing is all the choice you can get with this crank.
Note that depending on which batch of arms you have, the optimal bb length will vary (but Q factor is the same with either batch). We will let you know what is best for the particular crank when we are ready to ship it. Double cranks from one batch take 107mm JIS bb's, the other batch requires a 110-113mm JIS. If using SKF, which is a tad wide, the 110 should be perfect. If you order a bb from us when you order the crank, we'll substitute the "correct" one if you order the wrong one, so feel fee to order either and we'll make it right.
We are offering this crank at a special price, but that is because we need to just-in-time-it for you to keep our inventory costs down. But it only takes us 4 days to get it.

Sugino XD500 Compact Double Crank 175mm 48/34
175mm.
A great value in a compact crank! The Sugino XD cranks combine precious attention to tolerances with very robust arms and great value. The cranks are not low Q, but remember that low Q does not work for everyone.
The rings are alloy but are not polished, but the arms look great. The rings are identified as being suitable for 8 or 9 speed. But the reality is we've used similar Sugino rings on 10 speed set ups with swell results.
The crank uses a 110mm JIS bb. We now have BSC Cobra sealed bb's in this length for a great price. So here is a great way to get a great crank on your bike!
Note that the 175mm length is in limited supply - what we have loaded onto the online store may be all we have for awhile.

Sugino OX601D Modern Rando Pre-order style crank - nifty!
Pre-order for Shipment once they arrive
These are NOT in stock - the in stock indication just means you can pre-order. Most prime combinations are SOLD Out. We expect to be shipping just before or just after the memorial day 2013 holiday.
There is no other crank quite like this. Here is a very modern crank that provides rando friendly gearing. It is modern in that it uses outboard bearings and is sure to be very stiff, unlike some of the more minimalist lightweight cranks that are available. This crank is really catching on in popularity!
Note that a stiff crank is not for everyone. But if it is for you, here is a great choice. The finish on this crank is more basic - the arms are a more dull satin finish, and the rings are not polished, but that helps keep the price into the low $300 range instead of being well over $400 like the series 800 version that was offered awhile back. Plus, with this crank you get the bb too, so it really is a neat value.
This crank uses a special 110/74 ring arrangement which allows the inner ring to be very easy to find. The outer ring is 110, though it appears to be a "special" 110, so we'd stick with the factory ring.
The Q factor is a rando friendly 145mm.
We can typically supply this crank in the following arm lengths - 165,167.5,172.5,175.
Rings can be 30,32,34,36 for inner and 44,46,48,50 for outer.
If you cannot select a combo from the dropdown menu, that means the combo is currently unavailable from our supplier.

SKF Bottom Bracket JIS 126mm BSC
SKF Bottom Bracket JIS 126mm BSC. Ideal for many triple cranks such as TA Cyclotourist. SKF bottom brackets are better sealed than any modern bottom bracket we have ever seen. Beautiful German craftsmanship and machining. It is easy to understand the quality when you think of Leica cameras and BMW automobiles (if you are into the car thing). Unlike the other "premium" bottom brackets out there, this one really can live up to its promise.

SKF Bottom bracket 110mm JIS Italian
SKF Bottom Bracket JIS 110mm Italian thread.
This is the bottom bracket we recomend for use with Sugino Alpina and XD600 cranks. Sugino suggests a 113mm JIS bb with this cranks, but since SKF bb's are a slight tad "thicker", the result is as near perfect as we've found for use with these cranksets.
Beautiful German craftsmanship and machining. It is easy to understand the quality when you think of Leica cameras and BMW automobiles (if you are into the car thing). Unlike the other "premium" bottom brackets out there, this one really can live up to its promise. Note that SKF bb's tend to have a taper that moves the arms out about 1 to 1.5mm further than similar length Shimano JIS bb's.

Rene Herse Crank Triple
From Compass Bicycles, the Rene Herse Triple Crankset.
This is a gorgeous crankset that is a rando riders dream. There is more gap between between the arm and the outer ring than on crank such as the TA Cyclotourist which makes the set up of this crank far more pleasant.
Allow 4 extra business days for delivery of this item (some combos may be in stock so those will ship right away)
Available in one great length - 171mm.
There are lots of possible combinations here. For the combo you select be sure your front derailleur will handle it.
A wonderful update of the legendary Rene Herse crank. Extremely lightweight. Perhaps the most gorgeous crankset every made. The ingle ring version should be used with an ISO 107mm bottom bracket.

Rene Herse Crank Double
From Compass Bicycles, the Rene Herse Double Crankset.
This is a gorgeous crankset that is a rando riders dream. The Q factor is low, about 142mm. Also, there is more gap between between the arm and the outer ring than on crank such as the TA Cyclotourist which makes the set up of this crank far more pleasant.

Rene Herse Crank Bolt Pair - for all square taper cranks!
You may not have a Rene Herse, or a Rene Herse crank, but you can have Rene Herse fun on your bike for a great price!
These crankbolts have the washers built in, which is very handy. Many or most of us run our classic style cranks without dustcovers, and if you do, then having these nice chrome bolts is a real eye pleaser.
These bolts are sold by the pair - one bike's worth.

IRD Defiant compact double crankset 50/34 170mm
A very nifty crank - it looks very classic yet it has the popular 110mm bolt circle that allows for a nice size inner chainring. We have this crank in 170mm with 50/34 chainrings. It uses a 115mm JIS bb (not included). An SKF 113 should probably do the trick well, if you need more width go the the SKF JIS 116mm.

Cobra Sealed 110mm JIS bb - super value!
A super inexpensive but seemingly very nice 110mm JIS bb in British thread. This is the perfect bb to go along with one of the nifty Sugino cranks. (probably best on the double, for the triples you may need a 113mm)
It is not as robust as an SKF bb - but you can buy a lot of these for the price of an SKF or Phil.
This bb uses the typical big Shimano splined bb tool.

A bb parts combo in British thread for a post 1978 NR/SR/GS crank. This combo fits post 78 Campy NR/SR type cranks and uses the thin cups. The spindle length is right around 114.5. It is similar to a nuovo record but does not have the thick rifled cups. So it is using the same cups as the track and triple and pre-68 bbs. The parts are around 20 to 30 years old - the adjustable cup does have a triangle on it for whatever that means.
Note that you just get the three pieces - the spindle, the fixed cup, and the adjustable cup. There is no lockring or other parts included.

Campagnolo Record pre-1968 BSC bb spindle
Campagnolo Record spindle BSC for thin cups. This is the exact spindle you need if you have a bike with a Campy alloy Record (pre-NR) crank from around 1961 through 1967. Those bottom brackets used the thin campy steel cups and this is the correct proper spindle for it (and the markings look correct too!).
This spindle will also work with Nuovo Record cranks until 1978 IF you are also using the thin cups.
So if you have a 1960's Schwinn Paramount or Hetchins or similar British threaded bb bike, this is the exact spindle.

Campagnolo Italian Thin cup pair NOS - ONE PAIR
Campagnolo Italian thread thin cup pair NOS gorgeous. No lockring.
One Pair - the photo shows two, but this item is ONE PAIR. We do offer a 2 pair special as a different item.
These cups fit most pre-1968 Campagnolo record cranks, Campagnolo Nuovo Record Track bb's, Campagnolo Nuovo Record triple bb's, and mate with all other Italian width spindles that use 1/4 balls and require thin wall cups. Nuovo Record road double cranks use thick wall rifled cups, but even during the 1970's and 1980's Campagnolo continued to make premium spindles for road doubles that mated with these thin cups - so if you have a spindle for thin cups than these cups can be a real lifesaver.
Also, there were a number of later Campagnolo spindles that used thin cups, it is hard to name them all!
These cups were probably made in the 1980's, but they would work great and look great on your crank sitting on your 1966 Masi or Cinelli. So enjoy this opportunity. Perfect those who seriously tinker with classic Campagnolo equipped bikes!

Campagnolo BSC thin fixed cup
Campagnolo thin BSC fixed cup - just the fixed cup all by itself. The cup is new, and is about 20 years old. Perfect for use with Campy spindles that use thin cups such as pre-1968 record, Campy NR track and triple, most Campy GS, and many others. We have an imbalance in our inventory so we can sell the fixed cups alone.

94mm bolt circle 32 tooth chainring new 2 for $8.99
You get 2 of these!
What kind of chainring is this? We have no clue! Its alloy, its made in Taiwann (at least the box they came in said), and the ring has all sorts of pins and ramps and different sized teeth.
But if you have a crank with the 94mm bolt circle (which is actually a super cool rando friendly size since it takes small rings) that here is a chance to grab a couple of rings that might serve you well.
Or which might take up space on your parts shelf. We have no idea....

172.5 Campy SR used crank well used post 78
A well used Campy Super Record 172.5 crank. This was ridden by a big guy - so be aware, old Campy cranks can break. The spider arms have been filled in with fun paint. Where the crank gets the typical stress cranks between arm and spider there was some cracking, but we filed the arm back to relieve it. If you are a gentle rider or want these just for display, these may serve you well. But take into account the risks. The rings are pretty worn. The rings are 54/42. The hardware is there, it is all the Brev marking.
So buyer beware - but the price is right...
