Soma Rally type Cage plates for NR/SR w/Campy bolts For Super Record Conversion
The Soma Rally style cage plates for converting Campy NR/SR derailleurs are a hit! But if you have a late Campy Super Record rear derailleur the bolts from your Super Record will not work well with the Soma plates. But we just uncovered some Campy bolts that will do the trick so if you have wanted to convert your old Campy Super Record to a long cage unit with these bolts you can!

Soma Campy Rally style Long Cage Plates for Campy NR/SR/GS derailleurs
This is a cool item! Soma made some long cage plates that fit Campy NR/SR/GS rear derailleurs. The cage plates are a silver anodized finish that is pretty close to a Campy Super Record anodization.
The Super Record derailleur IS NOT INCLUDED. Just two cage plates. But oh these are an item we've wanted for years...
Note that the inner plate is rather thick - so these plates are best if you use with a large freewheel (that is the idea anyway), otherwise your plate may get close to the spokes. But if you are modifying your Campy NR/SR bike with these long cage plates the use of a freewheel with large cogs is probably the idea anyway! And we just restocked on some IRD freewheels to help your project along.
Note that post 78 Campy SR rear derailleurs use a beveled screw driver slot bolt (for the pulley cage) that won't fit in these cage plates well. You need the bolts off a typical Campy NR/GS or Rally. If you buy these plates and are stuck for bolts, we may be able to dig some up for you, but they are a bit pricey. |

For Campy Gran sport 1970's shifters - the outer plate knob thing that tightens it all down. You get a pair of these. They are new - perhaps some shopwear, but certainly a world nicer than the ugly ones often found on bikes with these gran sport shifters.

A fun shift lever set that never really existed! But it looks like a Nuovo/Super Record set as we've mated NOS Campy shift lever handles with the hardware from on of the Triumph sets we have. So the hardware is a bit budget compared with Campy NR/SR, but many of the parts are the same.

We just obtained these. Braze on sets new in the package of Campy Triomphe shift levers. From the mid 1980's.
These are gorgeous! Out of the package they are shiny - but for the photo, we took just a moment and applied a bit of Simichrome polish to the handles and they develope a super deep mirror-like shine! We've never seen such gorgeous Campagnolo goodness for such a modest price! These look like Italian Bicycle Art!
We looked at what these sell for on ebay – sometimes as much as nearly $60 or more for just one set! But we bought these “right” so we can pass on the savings. If you buy three sets, that means for any project bike you get you can install new Campy shifters for under $20! How cool is that? Also cool –the hardware on these will work with late type NR/SR levers too

Not the clones shown in the photos - here you are buying the real deal - a pair of never ridden Campagnolo Nuovo Record/Super Record pulleys. These are the dark grey ones that say Campagnolo. These are very hard for us to find. They might be take-offs from factory fresh derailleurs that never saw use beyond a bookshelf. So these are perfect - never had a chain on them. |

Campagnolo downtube derailleur cable guide
A gorgeous Campagnolo downtube cable guide (for guiding the front and rear bare derailleur cables). It is the thingy that mounts on the downtube above the bb shell.
While these do turn up, what is nice about the ones we have is how shiny and gorgeous the chrome is. And the proper bolt and nut is included too of course. |
