Bicycle Show May 4 - Swap Meet Space - private vendor

Swap Meet Space at the show May 4th Show.  This is a special $20  price for non-commercial vendors.  If you are the occasional buy-sell to support the habit kind of person, this is swell.  If you really make a chunk of your real income from the bike biz, get a commercial space instead.  You get two admission passes as well.  You also get a table with a basic table cloth on it.  There will be chairs too.  Set up is at 7am.  Breakdown is at 3PM  The show itself opens at 9am. Space is around an 8 x 10.  If you will need more space, email us and we'll see if we can give you more or if it would be better for you to get multiple spaces.  We will try to accommodate if we know in advance.  We want this to be fun and easy.

Here is the deal - make this event a success by bringing out the good stuff!  Not the sludge that you don't want to sell on ebay.  Bring out the gems, and we're letting buyers know that at this show there will be the good stuff.  So no truckload of ugly bikes unless they are Cinelli's, Schwinn Paramounts, and Tom Ritchey's third handmade mountain bike.  You get good Karma points if you make nice signs and prices for the goodies your selling too.

For some fine print - at the end of the show you must clean up your space of all trash and leave nothing behind.  Also, the show venue wants us to be very careful not to damage the exhibit hall's floor - so no unprotected kickstands or sharp objects can touch the floor unless there is something protecting the floor.

Thanks for your help!

Bicycle Show May 4 - Display and Attend with bike(s) to show!
Attend the May 4th bike show with or without bike(s) to show!  One low admission gets you in.  Note:  Because the camera show folks are keeping the gate, each adult you bring must pay a $5 admission fee to get through the door.

Please - nice vintage lightweight racing, touring, rando, and track bikes as well as vintage mountain bikes.  The idea is for a beautiful array of bikes to look at and for folks to also possibly buy if the item is for sale.  Not an opportunity to sell ugly junk (significant though ugly bikes are welcome) ....please contact us if in doubt.  We reserve the right to deny space to bicycles that are not in character with the display.  We don't mean to be too fussy (and we won't be, this isn't an audition or a beauty contest and we want to keep it fun!), but we want to make the show look nice! So your help on this is greatly appreciated.

To display each bike, you must have a stand for each bike as well as something to put under the stand to be sure it does not mar the floor.  The stand needs to be secure - we don't want domino bicycles!  Also, for each bike you must have some kind of info sheet or sign that tells when the bike was from and a bit of info about the bike if possible.  Also, you may offer the bikes you bring for-sale if you like.  If you have parts for sale you need to get a swap meet table.  You are on your own for dealing with folks interested in buying your bikes.  If you plan to wander around, maybe put a cell phone number on your bike's sign.

Also, you are reasponsible for keeping an eye on your bike - we are not responsible for lost or stolen or damaged bicycles or other property.  That said, we expect to have someone on hand to keep an eye on things and we expect to have a "check in" and check out system for bikes in the primary display area.  But again, we can't be responsible for loss or damage to your property.

Also  - please email us at mikekone@comcast.net and let us know what bike(s) you are bringing so we can allocate space and start talking them up for viewers and buyers!

Bicycle Show May 4 - Builder / Manufacturer Space

Builder / Manufacturer Space at the show May 4th Show.  You get two admission passes as well.  You also get a table with a basic table cloth on it.  There will be chairs too.  Set up is at 7am.  Breakdown is at 3PM  The show itself opens at 9am. We are looking for builders of top-tier bicycles that are hopefully handmade.  But this isn't one of those fancy shows where you have to either jump threw a bunch of hoops or be the organizers friend to attend.  If you make something cool, join in the fun!  If you manufacturer (or distribute, or otherwise sell) something bicycle related that is cool then join in as well.  If you are unsure that what you offer is not appropriate, then email mikekone@comcast.net and ask.

For some fine print - at the end of the show you must clean up your space of all trash and leave nothing behind.  Also, the show venue wants us to be very careful not to damage the exhibit hall's floor - so no unprotected kickstands or sharp objects can touch the floor unless there is something protecting the floor.
