This is a stunning two bolt seatpost is the last word in dependability, good looks, and ease-of-adjustment. Two bolt posts make it a smidge easier to adjust seat tilt (though it is still quite managable with a good one bolt post). For those who fondly remember the old Campagnolo two bolt post but don't miss its difficult to adjust bolts, this post is the perfect solution.
Nitto does make a more expensive two bolt post. But this one is so gorgeous and pleasant to use, we've never bothered with anything else.

Nitto S65 One Bolt Seatpost 27.2
This is a stunning one bolt seatpost that is the most commonly used post here at Rene Herse Bicycles. We use them on Boulder Bicycles that want a "fancy" post and it is our default post on over-the-top Rene Herse Bicycles where cost is not a limitation. This post reminds us of a Campagnolo Super Record seatpost but made with Japanese precision for added dependability.

The saddle is about the same width as a Brooks B17 standard. This saddle is less expensive than other Berthoud models and is a bit more basic in quality. But like all Berthoud products we expect that it will be very robust and a great alternative to Brooks saddles which typically are not as well constructed as the Berthoud products.

Berthoud saddles have been a wild successs. It is amazing how many riders find them to be wonderfully comfortable. High quality leather and a shape that many seem to find exceptionally comfortable. Has a design that allows it to be removed from its base. Also, provision on the rear makes for easy use of a Berthoud seatbag with quickfix attachment (available seperately). The rails of the Berthoud saddle allow for more adjustment than a Brooks, althoug most of the added adjustment seems to be in the forward direction.
Available in either steel or ti rails. And if you don't love the saddle, you can return it within 6 months for a refund (please don't abuse the saddle though). And of course, Berthoud saddles carry a 2 year warranty against defects. |

This saddle is similar in cosmetics, but is narrower and more cut away than the Berthoud Touring saddles that are so popular. Great for folks who run their bars relatively lower compared with the saddle or who just prefer a narrower saddle. High quality leather and a design that allows it to be removed from its base.

This one was ridden for about one day on a build for a local rider and then they decided to switch to a natural saddle and different tape, so this came off. You can not find any notable sign that it was used, but you can save a few dollars on it! The Berthoud and our own warranty apply.
